Help to stop smoking

We all know how bad smoking is for our health but that doesn't make it any easier to quit. That's why there's lots of different help out there for those who need it.

Many smokers admit that they would like to stop smoking and many have tried in the past.  There is a huge array of help available now whether you are thinking about stopping for the first time or want to give it another go.

The East Sussex Stop Smoking Service runs a helpline on 0800 622 6968 which is open from 9am to 5pm. Outside these hours you can leave a message to be called back or email the service on esh-tr.stopsmoking@nhs.net. You can also visit the East Sussex Stop Smokingwebsite or text ‘smoke free’ to 66777  for more information and advice.

One You East Sussex offers a range of help across the district, in Lewes, Eastbourne and smaller towns in the area.

For a list of clinics and services in your area go to Pharmacy and GPs services or, if you prefer, you can download an App for your mobile phone to help you stop smoking.
