Monthly Mayor’s Charity Inspirational Women Cream Tea
The Mayor’s Charity Inspirational Women Cream Teas is a monthly event hosted in Eastbourne. It features a new guest speaker in a different location each month.
In March, they will be in conversation with Professor Sue Hartley. Sue is Professor of Ecology at the University of York and director of the York Environmental Sustainability Institute, a pioneering interdisciplinary research partnership generating solutions to global environmental challenges. Not only that but she served as President of the British Ecological Society (2016 to 2017) and she is a trustee of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. In 2009 she delivered the Royal Institution Christmas lectures, becoming only the fourth woman to do so since they began in 1825.
Unfortunately it is sold out already for the talk on 2nd February, but March tickets are still available here, and tickets will become available for April onwards.
Each month come to hear their stories, enjoy a delicious cream tea, and help raise money for the Mayor’s charities, Memory Lane and Wayfinder Woman, it is not an opportunity to be missed!
